The Project

The House within the Gardens delivers a simple and yet completely new, elegant vision for an existing family home on a rolling rural site on the NSW Central Coast.

 

The design proposes a deliberately restrained intervention that incoporates the partial demolition of the sprawling existing dwelling to instate a new, smaller living pavilion. The architecture intends to magnify the presence of the site in order to achieve a dramatic shift in mood and livability without excess.
